I so want to love this game but I havent been able to progress given a bug that hard crashes the app on character death and thus doesnt save progress. I have tried to contact the developer about this but havent gotten a response. Pity, because it makes a good game unplayable.

It’s a super fun game, but it’s also really frustrating when I’m doing really well and the app will just crash and lose all my progress. I can’t recommend buying it at the moment but if the bugs are ever squashed, it’ll be a must have. iOS 8.1, iPhone 6+

I love the simplicity of the app. You can pick it up and play it whenever in your spare time and not have to worry about remembering where you left off. Its also very addicting when you do get into it.

I love this game but lately there are tons of issues with it crashing! Without these it would be 5 stars. On my iPhone 5, latest iOS, this game crashes every 5-10 minutes, and at certain triggers as well. For example, it sometimes crashes when I hit the Options button, and almost always crashes when my journey is over and it is recapping/summarizing it. There also are some minor bugs, such as the wrong character displaying on the high scores page when you click on the window of that particular run (for example showing Hera for a Witch run or something similar). Certain bosses seem impossible to beat as well, despite me trying dozens of play throughs. Ive never beeb able to beat Anubis or clear more than 3 areas, as the third boss always decimates me. When you leave a dungeon, there is no over world music until you enter a battle. Finally, there are some text issues as well, albeit minor ones; once your stats go past 9 they clip out of the level up select box, and certain items with long descriptions have rows of overlapping text. I used to love this game and play it all the time, and I still love and play it a ton, despite the crashing and issues, but the crashing makes it hard to do so, even with how often it autosaves. But there really is so much great about this game! The humor in the enemy dialogue is top-notch, and all of the art is consistently great. The battle system is fun, and all of the playable characters have different abilities to keep it interesting. On top of that, there is a wide array of various enemies, areas to explore, dungeons, playable characters, NPCs, and other great things that make replaying this game very fun.

I like the idea of this game but its really boring and crashes. I deleted it.

The play action is fun, and it makes sense. You can play this for quite a while and not realize it, try to get combos by matching more and more blocks at once. The thing Id like is more variety in the way the puzzle works and more items ( using up stars to equip them seems wasteful when there arent that many stars ) I have gotten some crash issues

This game is so addictive and cute! But it crashes at the end of every run and sometimes when you open menus, really annoying

This game is addictively fun. My only complaint is the frequent crashes which can cause you to lose significant progress. Would be 4 stars without the crashes.

This game rules, but it consistently crashes on my iPad mini (2nd gen). It doesnt look very graphic intensive, so the only conclusion I can come to is that it was poorly programmed by the scum who put it out. Fix it, please fix it, you pieces of garbage.

It is a fun game, but when your progress is lost because the game crashes over and over, it gets frustrating.

Okay, I must admit that even when it crashed a lot, Block Legend was frustrating but still a lot of fun. I played it continuously because it was almost mindless fun. Theres a little strategy involved, a little chance, but its a lot of fun and thats what keeps you coming back for me. I like the nod to old-time 8-bit graphics. Great work!

Cant believe I let this sit on my wishlist for so long. Now Im making up for lost time playing the heck out of this addictive little gem. There are tons of characters and areas to unlock, and random NPC in villages along the way to spice things up buy offering power ups, a new quest, even to transport you to a totally different area for awhile. When you die you lose all your gold and levels which is a little frustrating but you dont lose your stars that unlock new stuff. Anyone that loves block breakers or RPGs should get this. Its one of the most enjoyable games Ive played in awhile.

The UI components do not fit in the screen for an iPad. Some of the UI elements on the right and left edges are cut off.

I had this game for a while I recently found out that the scrolls cannot be used. Is it just me?
